Half day tour The Greco-Roman Museum, founded in 1881, houses a rare coin collection minted in Alexandria during the Greco-Roman time, and one of the finest collections of Tanagra figurines. Nearby, under 10 meters of debris, excavations cleared a well preserved Roman theatre once used for music events, built in Asia Minor marble and pink granite from Aswan. |
