Half day tour Fort Qaitbay is the site of Pharos Lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The fort was built in the 15th century for the Mamluke sultan as a coastal defense system. The royal jewelry collection covers a period from Mohamed Ali to the end of King Farouk`s reign. A visit to the grand Sidi Aboul Abbas Mosque completes this wonderful day. |

Half day tour The Greco-Roman Museum, founded in 1881, houses a rare coin collection minted in Alexandria during the Greco-Roman time, and one of the finest collections of Tanagra figurines. Nearby, under 10 meters of debris, excavations cleared a well preserved Roman theatre once used for music events, built in Asia Minor marble and pink granite from Aswan. |
